Amanda and Chris outside jolly cricketers

About Us

Locals Chris and Amanda Lillitou brought the run down Jolly Cricketers Pub in March 2008 and so began their journey of transforming it into a Great British Village Pub. Over the last decade it has become the hub and heart of Seer Green village life. Serving local hand pulled Ales, artisan Ciders and fine Wines alongside the best of modern British cooking, showcased by head chef, Matt Lyons.

Matt was previously head chef at Soho House, London, The Five Arrows, Waddesdon and The Crazy Bear, Beaconsfield. He also worked at The Porthminster Beach Cafe, Cornwall. Matt creates dishes full of flavour in a really informal, friendly pub atmosphere.

Dog Friendly

All Dogs and muddy boots are welcome in the main bar. On our doorstep we have wonderful countryside for walking and our four legged friends are most welcome to join you for in the main bar, for drinks, lunch or dinner.

We do ask you to keep your dog on a lead at all times please in the Pub and in the Garden. Dog bowls are always available and we sell homemade dog biscuits in aid of "Search Dogs Buckinghamshire"  who provide search and rescue teams to assist the Police in the search for the missing and vulnerable persons.
