Our Kitchen showcases the best of modern British cooking using seasonal ingredients, the freshest of produce, local when quality allows, from a great range of suppliers. They creates dishes full of flavor in an informal, relaxed and friendly pub atmosphere.
However you choose to use our dining room; a dinner party for friends, champagne & canapes for a special birthday or funeral wake, the Jolly Cricketers team are here to help you create your perfect event.
"The kitchen is keen to use seasonal locally sourced ingredients, some from their own herb patch, to create modern British cuisine together with classic pub food. The ever changing menu is constantly evolving and if a local game hunter or fisherman brings something in, it will feature as a special. Among the starters you could choose a warm goat's cheese fondant with candied beets, followed by roasted partridge, potato puree, black pudding, Sauternes and redcurrant sauce and finishing with a delicious rich chocolate tart, raisin puree, and Guinness ice cream. There is a great wine list, with eighteen by the glass together with four Cask Marque-accredited ales, four lagers on tap and seasonal home-made drinks such as blackberry brandy, mulled wine and sloe gin in the winter, and Pimm's with home-made lemonade in the summer.

"The first shiver of the season and the wood-burner at the Jolly Cricketers roars into action.
Landlord Chris Lillitou strokes the fire from midday until midnight.A Seer Green local,Lillitou played on the cricket team in his youth. He and wife Amanda have been at the helm of this dog-friendly pub for the past 10 years, turning it into the social center of the village.
Only 25 minutes away from Marylebone station, those looking for the perfect country pub at the end of a days walking can be sure of a warm welcome and a selection of local ales.
Chef Matthew Lyons, previously head chef at Soho House, serves up an inventive modern gastropub menu."

It has only taken us 10 years to write this review but we now need to celebrate the fantastic job Amanda and Chris have done in turning the Jolly Cricketers into such a wonderful place.
The menu is innovative and thanks to Matt (head chef) the standard of the food is exceptional. The staff (Kirsty, Will, Tylor and Co.) are so friendly and efficient we feel like they are friends - they certainly make us feel very welcome on our regular visits. We are fortunate enough to live in the village and quite frankly, village life would not be the same without the Jolly Cricketers.
We are aware of the great range of beers but are really impressed with the extensive and very good value wine list.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming and our only concern is that our review might entice many more customers to visit, which could leave us struggling to book a table!"
